We are delighted to announce that WINR has been shortlisted for Compliance AI Solution of the Year at the ICA Compliance Awards APAC 2026.

The International Compliance Association (ICA) is the leading professional body for the global compliance and financial crime prevention community. The ICA Compliance Awards recognise organisations that are driving innovation and raising standards across compliance, risk and financial crime prevention.

For WINR, the nomination is significant because it reflects a strategic belief that has guided our investment in artificial intelligence over recent years.

The conversation around AI is often dominated by technology. New models, new capabilities and new acronyms emerge almost daily. However, at WINR we have consistently viewed AI through a different lens.

Our focus has been on solving business problems. This philosophy has influenced initiatives such as Project Paragon, our work in privacy and compliance assessment, and the continued evolution of our identity, fraud and trust solutions.

Commenting on the shortlisting, WINR COO Malcolm Treanor said:

“Most AI projects fail because they start with the technology rather than the problem.

At WINR, we’ve taken the opposite approach. We start with a business problem and then determine where AI can genuinely improve the outcome.

Being shortlisted for Compliance AI Solution of the Year is encouraging because it recognises the practical application of AI rather than AI for AI’s sake.

The credit belongs to our Tech and Privacy & Compliance teams who have embraced AI as another tool to help our clients navigate an increasingly complex world.

The shortlisting comes at a time when compliance teams are facing unprecedented challenges. Regulatory obligations continue to evolve, fraud threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated and organisations are under pressure to deliver better customer outcomes while maintaining robust governance and privacy standards.

We believe AI will play an increasingly important role in helping organisations meet these challenges. Not by replacing human judgement, but by enabling compliance, risk and operational teams to work more effectively, more consistently and at greater scale.

We would like to thank the ICA judging panel for their consideration and congratulate all fellow finalists.”

The winners of the ICA Compliance Awards APAC 2026 will be announced during the online awards presentation on 21 July 2026.
